You could say that I'm a talkative kind of person. You could describe me as extroverted. You could probably even jam a fake statistic in there and say that I'm the kind of person who voices about 90% of their thoughts. (Even sometimes when I'm alone. If you can ignore the fact that they don't have ears, inanimate objects make surprisingly good listeners.)
But recently I've been getting an overwhelming need to tease out some of the more complicated thoughts I'm having on nice big blank pages. Thoughts about feminism, LGBT+ issues and sex positivity. I know that not everything I'm thinking about is logically watertight and that bothers me. I'm searching for a space to explore in, maybe a space where one day people will want to engage with me on these issues too.
Secondly, I'm writing this blog because social injustices are getting on my nerves and I think they should be getting on yours, too. I don't think I'm going to do much in the way for advancing academic debates in what I talk about, but if I even make one person stop and think about something, then that's a win for everyone.
My life feels like this now, and there's no going back [source and big version]:
